Covid-19 highlighted the growth of various emerging forms of work that until recently were not on the radar of the public and regulators in Serbia. These are jobs that are related to the so-called new digital economy and include, among other things, work on the Internet, or work on site through mobile applications for food delivery and passenger transport such as Glovo, Delivery Hero, Wolt, CarGo, as well as work from home for employers in Serbia and / or abroad . These new work arrangements include multi-employer work either at home or abroad, flexible working hours and commitments. As new forms of work are not recognized in Serbian legislation, these workers are often unable to enjoy social and labor rights. The aim of this project is to offer alternative solutions to the problem of “invisible” workers who can currently register exclusively as entrepreneurs or through temporary and occasional employment agencies, which does not correspond to the nature of their work for one or more employers.
