Vienna, 3 November 2025 – How gender shapes people’s experiences of climate change and security risks was the central theme of the “Resilient Futures: Linking Climate, Gender and Security” conference organized by the OSCE Office of the Co-ordinator of Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA).
In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Goran Stojanović from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, the participating artists explore how textiles and sensors can reflect the body’s internal rhythms and subtle changes invisible to the naked eye.
On April 11, 2025, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the third National Action Plan for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security (NAP 2025–2027). The Center for Research of Public Policies (CRPP) participated in the interdepartmental working group and consistently advocated for improvements in two interconnected areas: the misuse of small arms and light arms, and the impact of climate change and environmental degradation on women’s security. Both topics are partially recognized in the adopted NAP.
This year's project for the AMS programme connects art, science and society through an exhibition, talks and presentations that explore art as a method of experimenting with the boundaries between art, architecture, bodies and everyday life. The programme starts on the 12th of November, 18:00, the exhibition will last until the 6th of December, 2025.
The Public Policy Research Center will participate in the ADAPT Annual Conference, titled “Labour and Society: New Rights and Institutional Reforms for an Inclusive Future”, taking place from 21 to 23 November 2025 in Bergamo, Italy.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the Centre for Public Policy Research was invited to participate in consultations with experts from EU member states within the Twinning Project “Support to Improving Working Conditions and Preparing the Republic of Serbia for Participation in EURES”, funded by the European Union.
The Public Policy Research Center took part in the 9th Annual “Regulating for Decent Work” (RDW) Conference, organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and held in Geneva from July 2–4, 2025.
On October 15, 2025, the Public Policy Research Center held the third workshop in its ongoing series on the transposition of the EU Platform Work Directive into national legislation. The aim of the event was to highlight the key challenges and diverse legal approaches that EU Member States are applying in the implementation process.
