The BRIDGE project aims to contribute to the alignment of Serbian labour legislation and policy debate with the EU Platform Work Directive, with particular attention to employment status, algorithmic management and the rights of both on-location and online platform workers.

Through peer-to-peer workshops with experts from EU Member States, the regional Reshaping Work Conference 2027, a policy brief on online freelancers, updated Gigmetar™ monitoring and draft amendments to the Serbian Labour Law, Re:People connects comparative European experience, empirical evidence and concrete legal and policy proposals for Serbia’s future labour-law reform. The project pays particular attention to ensuring that platform work, algorithmic management and the impact of AI on access to work are addressed not only as issues of digitalisation and innovation, but also as questions of decent work, social protection and accountable governance of technological change.
