Following yesterday’s official kick-off meeting, the Erasmus+ project FARMER (Future Agri-Tech Reskilling and Modern Education Reimagining, 101242836) has formally started — and we are ready to build momentum for an exciting three-year journey. From 2026 to 2028, we will work to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) in the agri-food sector — one of the fields undergoing a rapid technological transformation, from digital tools and precision farming to smart solutions, automation, and greener practices.
Our focus is on developing curricula that can keep pace with innovation in the sector: we will design and pilot modular, innovation-oriented learning content, strengthen teachers’ capacities, and improve the links between VET schools and the labour market. A particularly important part of the project is collaboration with agri-tech actors — both start-ups and established innovative companies — to ensure genuine two-way knowledge exchange: school ↔ companies ↔ practice, so that learners leave school better prepared for real workplace needs.
Project partners are: Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini SRL SB (Italy, coordinator), CREDI (Bosnia and Herzegovina), CENTER (Serbia), NRDM (Montenegro), JU MSŠ “Enver Pozderović” Goražde, and JU Centar srednjih škola Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Follow our updates! We will soon share our plans, the timetable of public events, and opportunities for involvement and networking.
This project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. (101242836 — FARMER)
