The proposed project aims to contribute to cooperation between the state and civil society at the local and national level in responding to peer-violence and to strengthen youth knowledge in the security sector reform by providing direct communication between youth, municipal authorities, local security councils, NGOs and MPs. The research part of the project will offer evidence-based policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the participation of youth and their confidence in governmental institutions, increasing the positive impact of the security sector reform processes both on the youth and on democratic actors at the local and national level.
The project will be implemented at three localities which have MPs who are members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee and related committees, in Belgrade (Zemun), Aran?elovac and Subotica.
