Re:People builds on the legacy of the Public Policy Research Centre (CENTER), founded in 2010 in response to a growing need for high-quality, independent, and actionable research in public policymaking.
From the beginning, the Center established itself as a trusted, independent voice committed to driving sustainable change, with a strong focus on human security, labour markets and the future of work, and social inclusion.
Over time, it has built strong expertise in how digital transformation is reshaping work, economy, and power — spanning platform labour, artificial intelligence, industrial relations, and innovation ecosystems.
Working in partnership with international, regional, and national actors — including research institutions, civil society organisations, public authorities, innovation hubs, and companies — the CENTER has helped shape evidence-based policies and strengthen capacities for more inclusive and equitable social change.
Today, under the Re:People brand, this work evolves further — advancing new approaches at the intersection of research and policy, with a clear ambition: to contribute to a just digital transition and a more sustainable, inclusive future.
